As members of the National Association of Senior Move Managers, THE PLATINUM MOVE, specializes in simplifying the consolidation and relocation process with compassionate and creative solutions so that seniors can make the transition with their dignity – and families – intact.  Our 3-step process includes an in-depth consultation, support and coordination of every detail to insure the move is stress free. Our client’s only job is to arrive in their new home, excited to begin a new chapter in their lives.

1. Pre- Move Planning
  • Obtain estimates from movers/plan logistics of move
  • Measure/photograph present furniture for draft of Floor Plan
  • Administrative Tasks (Change of address/closeout of local accounts, disconnect of utilities, discontinue monthly, quarterly or yearly home maintenance services, discontinue  delivery services (newspaper, water delivery), document management
  • Sort and organize all possessions for downsizing
  • Arrange for profitable disposition of unwanted items through auction, estate sale, buy-out, consignment, donation
  • Coordinate appraisers, Estate Sale Company, auction estimates and sale
  • Coordinate custom closet work needs/ estimates/oversee installation
  • Photograph, Document and Track possessions for donation, family, storage, auction
  • Coordinate all arrangements with the Community in a professional manner to insure all moves are processed in accordance with the community’s guidelines and regulations
2. Oversee Move Out
  • Organize inventory for packing using color coded-system for proper routing
  • Oversee packing by movers

3. Oversee Move In
  • Complete unpacking at new residence
  • Oversee furniture placement according to floor plan

Other Services:
  • Assist with selection of a SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) realtor
  • Prepare home for sale
  • Provide and oversee outside vendors (electricians, painters, handyman)
  • Arrange for cleaning services to insure a seamless final walk-through by new owners
  • Decorating services
